At the 17th Congress International Association for Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes (I.A.G.P.) in Rome, Italy August 2009
Dr. Suzanne B. Phillips was one of the panelists presenting “ Women in Groups In Times of Conflict” She discussed Therapeutic Response for Intimate Partner Violence, Victims of Rape and Human Sexual Trafficking with Children in the U.S. ( the GEMS) program.

Dr. Suzanne B. Phillips Chaired a Three Course Program with Faculty from the American Group Psychotherapy Association entitled: Group Response to Trauma and Disaster: Lessons Learned by AGPA in the aftermath of 9/11 ( aimed at offering support to Italian Mental Health Caregivers in the wake of the Abruzzo Earthquake in Italy in April 2009)
